Process
How a project runs
Four stages, in order. You will know which one you are in at any given time, and who is waiting on whom.
Stage 01
Site visit
We walk the property, look at the panel, the roof and twelve months of usage, and talk through what you are actually trying to solve.
Stage 02
Design & proposal
A system layout and a fixed written scope with real numbers — production estimate, equipment list, and what is and is not included.
Stage 03
Permits & approvals
We handle the building department, the HOA if there is one, and the utility interconnection application.
Stage 04
Build & commission
Installation, inspection, permission to operate, and a walkthrough of the monitoring app before we leave the site.
What to expect
The part nobody warns you about
The build itself is usually the fastest stage. Most of a solar project's calendar time is spent waiting on other people — the building department, the utility, and occasionally an HOA architectural committee.
We file all of it and chase all of it, and we will tell you honestly where a job is sitting rather than letting you wonder. If your jurisdiction is running slow that month, you will hear it from us before you have to ask.
Permission to operate — the utility's sign-off that lets you actually switch the system on — is the last gate, and it is the one entirely outside our control. Everything before it, we own.
